This quest would be bad enough if you just had to drag a chest all the way from the bottom of the vault. What really makes it awful is that you have to drag the chest slowly.It’s not just that dragging the chest slows you down. It’s that if you move at your toon’s normal speed, it sometimes decides that’s too fast. How fast is «too fast»? It’s not clear. The quest doesn’t say, but normal toon «running speed» is sometimes (not always?) too fast. This could be lag-related, who knows.If you drag too fast the game says «nope». You’re stunned for a few seconds, and then are unable to click on the chest and start dragging again for about 10s.One (very painful) solution? Drag using «RP walk». It’s extremely slow, but you don’t get stunned and have to wait before you can start dragging again.

Perhaps this quest was changed with a hotfix? I just did this quest, and all I had to do was simply touch the box and then return to the forgemaster. You no longer have to drag it all the way back.

i decided to drag that chest, and right at the moment that i have dragged it to the ring, game just did throw me to different shard.. i refuse to do it ever again.. loot is not worth that time

So as mentioned you no longer need to drag this yourself to turn the quest in.Once someone else drags it to the top, you can claim the treasure from the box itself, even after turning in the quest. Wouldn’t have noticed except I had another quest to turn in and came back around the NPC.

I dragged the box all the way up there and got attacked by some trash. While I was killing them the box disappeared and I never got to loot it…. What a waste of time

A little gnome chained to that huge box trying to pull it all the way up.People stopped to cheer for me and encourage me. GO GO GO little fella.I was the star of the day.

Tremendous time sink for a paltry, absolute garbage reward. Also, quite broken — when you suddenly snap the chain (which occurs randomly and for no reason), you will no longer be able to drag the chest.Once the chest bugs and you can no longer drag it, go right up to it and rapidly right-click it between 75 and 100 times. Your character should pick it up again.Unless you’re absolutely desperate for Wrathion or Sabellion rep, AVOID THIS TIME SINK!. Not at all worth it!
